Well... Peex is the only one who can flatten herself like that in my rather normal, non-toony character cast for Street Soul, being the pink-haired party girl who loves entertaining others with parties and performances.

i always have a hard time making the shape of a charater stand out

how do you do that?

Well, even I'm not exactly sure on how I draw my stuff, but I think drawing an exaggerated sketch of a character definitely helps. It helps me since I'm very much fond of sketching stuff to get the idea of how the character's gonna turn out.

if i may askedhow did you make the shadows in the window i been trying something similar to that

I don't quite follow, but I'll make a guess as to what you mean.
The shadows themselves are pixel linework, whilst the light pink pixels on the cage is called dithering, and it's a white pixel grid that I color over.

I think we are all waiting for the game and to be fair the game has around 200000$ on kickstarter or maybe more a bit sad that we don't be able to see the pico school remake but hey at least the game it's going to be epic (i hope)

As for criticism related to the pic you shud add the same fogy effect to the shadow similar to the mic just an opinion keep it up 👍
